Children's Ministry

At Gateway Church, we strive to maintain a clean, safe environment where children are shown God's love through words and actions.

While you are in the service, your child will be cared for by two qualified volunteers. All of our volunteers are active members in our church who have passed thorough background checks. We maintain a ratio of one volunteer for every four children in this area.

There is a sign-in table located inside the Kaberet. You will be given a pager when you drop your child off; we will signal you if we feel you need to return to the baby room. The beeper acts in a similar fashion as a restaurant pager: it will vibrate if you are being signaled. The volunteers do not change diapers, so we will signal you if a change is needed.

We are able to provide child care for the following age groups:

Kidz Kaberet (Ages 3 to 10)

Our lessons include solid biblical teaching and engaging, hands-on activities that incorporate nature, art, music and the greater world around us. A take-home paper is available with ideas about how to incorporate that week's teaching at home. Further opportunities for encouragement and support, such as a parent's group and mom's group, are available within the church.

Baby Room (0 to 2)

The baby room is available for children between 0-2 years of age. Parents of these children and nursing mothers are welcome at any time.
